About

Hi, I'm Tina

I am passionate about providing teachers with engaging and interactive resources they can use immediately to become more confident and effective in the classroom.

Hey there, I’m the Tina behind Teach with Tina!

It is my goal to help busy and overburdened upper elementary teachers bring some fun back into their classrooms and make it less overwhelming by offering fun, engaging, easy-to-implement resources.

I got you!

If you are an upper elementary teacher who is feeling…
Like all you do is hand out worksheets like a PE teacher handing out volleyballs.
Like “Another day, another worksheet.” “Ho hum”
Or “How do I engage my students without spending all of my times recreating dull curriculum?”

This is where I can help!

As a teacher in the classroom for over 15 years, most of the time with over 32 students with all different levels, languages, and needs, I know that “Am I even making a difference?” feeling!

During my years in the classroom, I made it my mission to create movement-based, project-based, and discussion-based worksheet alternatives for my classroom. However, I needed these alternatives to be easy to prep and easy to implement. I did not have time to gather a ton of supplies, fiddle with manipulatives, or beg for parent volunteers. Ugh!

That’s when the lightbulb came on!  There are probably other teachers that might need these types of resources, so I started my TPT Store.

After a short career in Accounting… Boring, but it paid the bills!   I had always wanted to teach but was talked out of it in high school.   When my two boys went off to school, I couldn’t keep myself out of their classrooms, books, and homework.  So, I decided to return to university and earn my Elementary Credential.  It didn’t take long until I also earned my Math Supplemental Credential, my ELL Certifications, and a Reading Specialist Certificate.  It was one of the best decisions I have ever made!   Now some 20 years later, here I am, teaching and helping teachers!

I left the classroom a few years ago to work on my TPT store, run, hike, bike, ski, and enjoy my Colorado home with my hubby.
