Well it’s official, my state is going to start the school year online with distance learning! I really did not want to start the school year this way, but, so is the life of a teacher…pivot and go!
Making it All About Us!
I wanted to find a way to give my students a chance to jump back into online learning with something fun and collaborative, and I think I have just the thing! An All About Us digital presentation!
So, the way this works is, each student will be assigned a slide number in the presentation. On their slide, they will insert a picture and information about themselves. Since it is collaborative, all of my students will be working on one file. (Fingers crossed) I will add one all about me too!
I will also ask them to collaborate on how we can describe ourselves as a class. We will make a collaborative slide that includes our classroom expectations and norms.
Finally, I will ask our aides to add their pictures as well, so that when they show up on online meetings, my students will be familiar with them!
